The day started as usual,wake up,change,father send me to school etc... BUT,today is SO much more different compared to other days.First,there were totally no classes! Mdm Ng did not come today,we watched "HAPPY FEET" during DnT,Mrs Choy did not come today,did not study during Chinese and Mrs Sankar got held up for some reason and did not even go to class!If it weren't for choir,why go to school today anyway?
After school,Vivien ong,valerie,samantha and I ate together for 30 mins.Then vivien and I went to the library to relax,but instead we watched iffah during band first. We watched them throw their sticks around for 20 mins.Then,went inside the library and took a few books and started reading(what else can you do in a library?).
Then,that was when I lost my water bottle worst part was I have a cough too!Btw, this is the second time I lost a bottle in fact,I did not lose it at all it disappeared!One minute its there then the next minute its not!So whoever is playing tricks with me,PLEASE stop!
Choir started at 3.30pm as per normal at the AVA room and fionna managed to come for choir practice even though 'O' levels are only 3 days away!We got our scores for carolling and there are a dozen songs!And somehow the Alto parts always sound so 'dead'.All of a sudden,I heared Mrs Nair say she was going to announced the new choir commitee which obviously got the whole choir excited.She asked us to guess who was going to be in the new commitee and it was very obvious that Chu ping was the President.She announced the others too,and Tirta is Vice-President!CONGRATS TIRTA! AND CONGRATS TO ALL THE OTHERS TO!When Mrs nair was going to announce the sectional leaders I got even more excited! But when she said Tirta and Wendy names,my hopes were kind of shattered.But she said the name that she was going to call next was very unexpected(or so I heared). And it turned out to be my name!
I was so shocked!My eyes widened and my jaw almost dropped!Everything seemed to be in slow motion!Some people looked at me while others clapped.You might think that this is ridiculous but it was true.My heart started beating faster and faster I thought I was going to faint already!Good thoughts started to flash across my mind like practices before SYF and how the sectional leaders made it so fun(well,at least for me),I started to feel good about myself.A few minutes later while we started to learn the songs,bad memories started to flash again like when the sectional leaders scream and shout at the sec1s because we were too noisy,I don't think I want to scream and shout so much..I will leave that to Tirta or Wendy.hehe.
We managed to learn 6 songs out of the 12 and I can tell that most of the altos are not sure of their notes,so JIA YOU Altos!This is also one of the reasons why we need to have sectionals,the other reason is that I don't want to go for the talent time audition thing!Why must you guys vote vivien and I to go?! WHHHYYYYYYY????
Now all we can do vivien,is pray that a miricle would happen!By the way,the seniors farewell party is on 1st Dec and the bird park,the place we are going to sing..So try to come on that day to say farewell to the seniors(so sad).Now,I have a cough and hopefully it will go away and come back on 23rd Oct and go away on the 24th.Since there is a very small chance of that happening,pray to god that a miricle would happen,that is our only hope Vivien Ong!
