OMG!!Today was the choir's ndp performance an it was so fun!I woke up too early,like 5am,took my time to dress up and reached school at about 6.40am in my P.E attire.And I found out that the size of the choir T-shirt that I ordered was about the size Mr.foong was wearing!But someone changed the size..phew!
I went up to the music room with vivien ong and ruiting to see if we can get our choir t-shirt yet,but no one was there.We waited for quite some time in the canteen before going back up,realising that we were a little late.Slowly people started strolling in into the music and we started practicing our songs.
Not before long,most of the people were here but the choir-T wasn't.I could see the panic in the seniors's faces as some were trying to find our teacher and the others trying to keep the choir's noise level down.Jessie and I tried to help by asking people to keep quiet,but the other side of the choir was still quite noisy.
A few minutes before we left for school hall the choir-T finally arrived!everyone was rushing to the toilet and some just changed outside the cubicles.Then we were given party poppers to pop after the performance.then we had line up in our two rows and prepare to go to the hall.
Once there,we sat down,sang the national anthem,and the first performance was on.
While waiting for our turn,I had to keep kelly and myself calm because both our harts were beating very fast.Then it was the indian dance and malay dance.I could barely recognise iffah!the only way i could recognise her wasby height!(no offense iffah)Then mrs nair asked the choir to stand behind the hall and wait.
we waited ...and waited ...and waited.many minutes later a teacher asked us get ready.I started praying,hoping everything would go as planned.then on stage,I prayed that the curtains would jam,and not open!childish,I know,but hey,i was nervous! Unfortunately the curtains still opened and the mic almost fell,luckily with my quick reflexes I caught it(haha..ya right).
Quite a lot of people was so nervoused that they rushed!When we were singing,I could hear and echo!At first,I thought one of the singers were singing so loudly that there was an echo,but I was wrong.As I started to hear more clearly,i realised that it was the CD and not us!
Luckily,other than that,everything went well.Man!Today was so fun!Well,thats all! See ya next time!Bye-Bye!
