OMG!!I am SO lucky to have a lucky mom.HAHA.On monday,i spent almost the whole night thinking what to wear.I know,I know,its not like I'm going on a date right. But its my first concert!come on!
Tuesday morning......7.30am
I woke up and got ready for E-learning.Did my assignment and had tuition......(very boring right?)
......3pm(HAHA!jump so far)
Waited...waited...waited...(why doesn't time fly when you want them to?)
..................4pm.....
Recieved a phone call from my father saying that he would pick me up at 6.50pm..
Got sleepy..laid in bed....accidentaly fell asleep........
................6.15pm(ahh!!!)...
My grandmother woke me up(THANK GOD.Ran to the toilet washed my face,took my clothes and changed,combed my hair,touch up and soon it was 6.45.(so fast right?sigh.times flies only when want them not to..)
My father came home,put the just bought fox-faced fish in the tank and we were off.I brought the disc full off gwen stefani's songs that my mom downloaded and listen to itin the car.drove to kallang MRT where my mom was supposed to wait.Instead,we had to wait for her.....Waited...waited..waited...soon it was 7.15pm!!!Even though we were supposed to be there at 8pm..but you know how singaporens are..kiasu..
7.20pm..1 minute later,HAHA,mom finally got into the car!!And we drove off to the indoor stadium!!YAY!!!Reached there around 7.45pm.Mom and I got out of the car(by the way,we had only 2 tickets..i have no idea why my father did not go but..im fine with it!!)We started searching for the entrance..east..east...where the heck is the east entrance?!oh!There it is......
While walking towards the entrance,we saw many people carrying cameras and someone told my mom(the day before)that it was not allowed in the stadium!SABO!ARGH!FRUSTRATED,we went into the the stadium.It was huge!But the stage is like so damn small!!
We sat down exactly at 8pm...and people were still strolling in!Now I know how Mr.Farid feels when he shouts during morning assembly.I felt like doing the same thing!Waited...waited..waited..soon it was 9pm(would you believe it)!!!!
Suddenly...at 9.15pm...the lights went off!I thought it was some kind of blackout! But once I heard people screaming,that was one of the signs that IT has started!!Then there were two girls both in striped outfits running around as if their avoiding something.The spot lights shine on them and everyone started screaming louder!Then guess what?Yes!Gwen Stefani appeared on stage!And Everyone screamed even louder!And her starting song was "Sweet Escape"!woohoo!eehoo!...
We raised our hands up,danced and sang at the same time.No matter how loud you screamed,the music was louder!AND I LOVE LOUD!!!!!woohoo!!I totally forgot what song she sang next but the rest was awsome!But what I remember most is that when she sang
"Hollaback girl",the whole crowd was singing with her!When she did not sing,you could still hear the crowd singing so loudly!I bet even the greatest choirs cannot outsing a group of crazy fans!The music was so loud that when the drummer played, you could feel the beat of the drum in your heart,it might even have started an earthquake!!
There was 1 time when she went down the stage into the crowd,people gt off their seats and started chasing her!Guess what?!She ran towards my section of seats!I was that close to her!When I wanted to take a picture...my handphone...had no more battery...You know how frustrated i felt?!!This is like a once in a life time thing and my handphone..ARGH!!!!!
Oh well..at least it will always be in my memory.Then when she did an encore(repeat) of one of her songs,she introduced her band.The drummer was so cool!He could play a solo for 10 straight mminutes and still not get tired.Her guitarist is a girl and man!She can sing!Her dancers were mostly girls and mostly from japan.(I have no idea why either)Her dancers seem to have a unlimited supply of energy!some did handstands, spin on the head upside down thinggy(I don't know what that is called)and many other stunts!
THAT WAS DEFINATELY THE MOST WONDERFUL DAY OF.....THE YEAR!!hehe.Her concert ended at around 10.15pm....I actually wanted it to be longer....but anyway,I had so much fun!Then while walking out from the stadium,i spotted this one old man walking towards me,while i spotted him i lost sight of my mom!I started walking faster to look for my mom,the old man followed!I slowed down to ask him what he wanted,then he pretended to fall,brushing his hand across my chest and some other girl's(ang moh) chest too!I WAS SO SHOCKED!I WANTED TO GIVE HIM A TIGHT SLAP IN THE FACE BUT THE GIRL ALREADY DID!Guess what I said to her?"Thanks!" and she was like"NO PROBLEM!" if not for me losing sight of my mom,I would have joined in and started slapping the guys together with the girl(btw that girl is huge!And i mean body size ok?don't start thinking else where).From the way she slapped,I could tell she wasn't finished and the
PERVERT + SICKO = PERVERTIC SICKO (new formula!haha)
gt what he deserved!Case Closed!That was the worst ending to the best day of the year!Thank-you!
